Unity in the Hills: Mahama and Akufo-Addo Share Landmark Moment in Kwahu

President John Dramani Mahama on Sunday paid a courtesy call on former president Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo at the lush landscape of Kwahu in the eastern region where, for nearly two decades, the former head of state have visited consecutively to mark the sacred period of Easter.
The two iconic leaders were in the Kwahu enclave for the Easter festivities where Mr. John Mahama addressed a gathering of business owners and high-profile government officials at the second edition of the Kwahu Business Forum.
In a viral video posted on social media, the two statesmen were seen sharing jokes to the admiration of onlookers. Akuffo addressed John Mahama as “Mr President” and Mr. Mahama responded, “Mr President… after shifting the burden on me, good to see you.”
